Since the hunt for the next representative for our fair land has begun, we have rounded up five of our favourites who are doing well for themselves but aren't garnering constant media attention.

Miss South Africa's win means instant fame when they wear the crown on their heads.

And since the hunt for the next representative for our fair land has begun, we have rounded up five of our favourites who are doing well for themselves but aren't garnering constant media attention.

The first black Miss South Africa in 1993, Jacqui Mofokeng now lives a quiet life in the US with her husband and children and she is very happy.

While Peggy-Sue Khumalo, Miss SA 1996, who is still as gorgeous as ever is a board member of many successful companies.

Nokuthula 'Thuli' Sithole is married to a Swati prince and is a doting mother and she loves every single second of it, her days as the face of South Africa began in 2005.

Sonia Raciti's face has been seen as one of the faces of the judging panel on Miss South Africa, but she has been successful in the business sphere as well, she was the queen in 1998.

Joan Ramagoshi, Miss SA 2000,  is a dedicated mother and wife who also runs her own successful business with her husband.

Take a trip down memory lane with our gallery below as we've found some pictures of our faves during their reign.
