IT'S set to be the biggest grossing South African movie of the year and to further entrench Kenneth Nkosi and Rapulana "Raps" Seiphemo at the forefront of the continent's film industry. But as we all know, behind every leading man is a strong woman and in this case, it's two: cue Maduvha Madima (28) and Keketso Semoko (45).

They are the leading ladies in Kenny and Raps' latest movie, Paradise Stop, which has already sold 55 000 tickets and continues to pack out cinemas.Just like Kenny, Raps and the movie's director, Jann Turner, the two lead actresses have graduated from the world of soapies and are now making a play for the big screen. It's been an experience they've clearly enjoyed judging by their laugh-a-minute banter in our Sandton studio. They horse around like school girls as they try on different outfits and perform for the camera. "Is this the battle of the boobs now?"
