Sipho Makhabane alias Big Fish is a trump, period.  Late last year he shot the works with the inaugural Peace and Unity concert whose launch was at Mbombela stadium in Nelspruit.

The gig was chockfull with pertinent crowd pleasers of the moment including the esteemed Joyous Celebration and gospel icon, Rebecca Malope. The next instalment in the series takes the show to Secunda in the Gert Sibande District Municipality and the line-up is certainly one to write home about. Big Fish went for broke scouting around for hotshots such as S’fiso Ncwane, Dumi Mkokstad, Andile ka Majola, saxophonist Denzil Erasmus and comedian Ditsebe.com.

“I’m in it with Ikwekwezi FM who are coming in as media partners,” said Sipho about the event happening at Embalenhle stadium. “Bishop Nhlapo and pastor Negros Manana will lead us in prayer. Other gospel cats to look out for at the event include Umsingizane, Frans Dlamini, Phindile Phoky, Thina Zungu, Sipho Makhabane and Takesure Zamar Ncube who is known for the famous ditty Kuregerera in Advance. The show is gonna be something special for the Gert Sibande people.”

Peace and Unity Concert takes place at Embalenhle Stadium 04 June, 13:00. Tickets can be bought at the gate
