Book review: PERCY JACKSON SEA OF MONSTERS

As if life as a teenager is not complicated enough, Percy Jackson also has to deal with recurring dreams where his friend Grover finds himself in danger.

As a demi-god, the task of saving the world from destruction falls on Percy and his friend Annabeth, amongst others.

The tree that protects Camp Half Blood is in danger and they have to retrieve the Golden Fleece, the only thing capable of saving it.

This book was first published in 2006 and was re-released this year to coincide with the film that brought the action to the big screen.

The books on Percy and his friends appeal to young adults and there is enough action to keep them turning the pages to see what happens next.

If you are new to the adventures of Percy Jackson it is bestl to first read the book before watching the movie.
