Orlando Pirates will not replace Jali

Orlando Pirates administrative manager Floyd Mbele says his club is not looking for any replacement for midfielder Andile Jali.

According to Kick-Off magazine,  Jali left Pirates to join KV Oostende in Belgium this past weekend.

Midfielder Lehlohonolo Masalesa is touted as good replacement for the former University of Pretoria midfield kingpin, especially after his Man of the Match performance in Bucs' 2-1 victory over Ajax Cape Town in Soweto last night.

"Andile is a very good player and that's why he got a chance to move and play overseas. But I think it's wrong for people to think that we are looking for his replacement," Mbele told KickOff.com.

"We have other players signed by the club who deserve to play for Pirates. Masalesa came on against Ajax Cape Town and won Man of the Match. He also did well during the Caf tournament.

"It's not about how Andile plays football, but how Pirates play football. If Oupa Manyisa leaves Pirates, do we need to go and look for another Oupa Manyisa?

"Teko [Modise] came when he was sitting on the bench at SuperSport United and we made him a good player. In fact, he left and after that we won the League."
