Murder accused and paralympian athlete Oscar Pistorius is considering returning to training, his agent said on Wednesday.

"We met yesterday [Tuesday] and we discussed the possibility of resuming training again and it's going to be up to Oscar to decide when," Peet van Zyl said following a meeting with the athlete and his coach.

"From my side and his coach [Ampie Louw's] side we think it's a good idea so he can get some routine back in his life."

Pistorius is charged with shooting and murdering girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp in his Pretoria home on February 14.

The paralympian was released on bail on February 22 under strict conditions, including being assigned a correctional officer, being tested for alcohol and drugs, and barred from travelling overseas.

He challenged these conditions in the High Court in Pretoria. All of the above, and several others, were set aside.
