Pizza with a twist

Russian and Salami Pizza

preparation time: 10 min

Cooking time: 12 min

makes 1 large or 2 medium pizzas

You will need

2 standard pizza bases (see page 30 for step-by-step guide)

80 ml (? cup) prepared tomato sauce

Topping

125 ml (½ cup) grated Mozzarella cheese

2 Russian or cheese sausages, thinly sliced

8 slices of salami

½ packet (125 g) bacon, diced

2 small orange sweet peppers, cored and sliced

3 spring onions, chopped

125 ml (½ cup) grated Cheddar cheese

Method 1. Preheat the oven to 240°C or the highest temperature of the oven. 2. Sprinkle a baking sheet with flour. 3. Spread the tomato sauce evenly on the pizza dough. 4. Sprinkle over the Mozzarella cheese and arrange the sausages, salami, bacon peppers and spring onions on top. End with the Cheddar cheese. 5. Bake in the oven for 10 to 12 minutes or until the pizza bases are cooked and the cheese has melted. Serve immediately.
