Platinum Stars might lose coach

Platinum Stars caretaker coach, Allan Freese, has issued an ultimatum to his bosses ahead of Telkom Knockout final against Orlando Pirates.

He says he will consider offers from other ABSA Premiership clubs if he is not confirmed as head coach of Stars.

On the other hand, a sword hangs over the head of Pirates coach, Roger De Sa, despite reaching a third final of the season.

Stars are fourth on the ABSA premiership table after 12 matches having won five and drawn four, and only losing three.

The Phokeng-based club is having its most successful season in top flight football to date and will play in a second final on Saturday.

However, Dikwena might lose their coach if he receives a lucrative offer.

"I think I will if the money is right, really if the money is right I am going to say why are you taking so long to put the contract on the table. So, somebody must wake up it’s not me as long as I do my work to the best of my ability," says Freese.
