Local hip hop star Khuli Chana counts his blessings every day, after surviving being shot by police in 2013. .

The police subsequently claimed the shooting was a case of mistaken identity. The rapper sustained minor injuries and a bullet was lodged in his right finger.

Early this year it was reported that he’d reached a settlement after a two-year battle over the incident.
