Polish councillors think Winnie the Pooh is a bad role model

Local Polish councillors have spoken against lovable cartoon character, Winnie the Pooh, being considered as a mascot for their local playground.

Their gripe is with the hunny-loving bear’s incomplete outfit and absent genitals. If you remember from your childhood, Winnie the Pooh sports a red t-shirt and no pants.

Councillor Ryszard Cichy says: "The problem with that bear is it doesn’t have a complete wardrobe. It is half naked which is wholly inappropriate for children. It doesn’t wear underpants because it doesn’t have a sex.”

It’s a hermaphrodite," another councillor chimed in.

The councillors have gone to the extent of saying Winnie the Pooh’s genitals were cut off by his creator, AA Milne, because he had n “identity crisis”.

Just as we thought the world’s issues couldn’t get more bizarre!
