If you have little girls you’ve probably seen the popular Disney movie Frozen. And you’re likely to know the words to Let It Go by now. The YouTube video of a new version of the song has now taken the internet by storm (pardon the pun). It features the hauntingly beautiful vocals of an 11-year-old songstress and a distinctly African beat. Watch it here.

Singer-songwriter Alex Boyé created the new version of the song and its beautiful video. He explains the idea came to him when he saw his four-year-old daughter dance around their living room “singing every single word with feeling”.

The video was made at the Midway Ice Castles and the Once Voice Children’s Choir from Salt Lake City in America sing the vocals. However, the star of the moment is 11-year-old Lexi Walker singing the part of Elsa.

The song is available on iTunes and you can watch the video here.
