President Zuma to honour repatriated stalwarts

President Zuma is scheduled to officiate at the reception service of the repatriated remains of struggle stalwarts Mr Moses Kotane and Mr John Beaver Marks.

President Jacob Zuma is scheduled to arrive this morning at 11h30 at the Waterkloof Airforce Base in Pretoria to officiate at the reception service of the repatriated remains of struggle stalwarts Mr Moses Kotane and Mr John Beaver Marks, whose remains have arrived back in South Africa from Moscow in the Russian Federation.

Two weeks ago in his State of the Nation Address on the 12th February 2015, President Zuma announced that Mr Kotane and Mr Marks will be reburied on 14 March and 22 March 2015 in Pella and Venterdsorp respectively in the North West Province.

The service will take place at 12pm at the Waterkloof Airforce Base in Pretoria.
