Pushie has gone from party girl to proud mom and wife

A security guard greets us at the posh northern suburbs estate in Joburg hidden behind high cream-coloured walls.

He makes a quick call to their house and the gates swing open to reveal an opulent world of lush lawns, fresh flower beds and a long meandering driveway lined with tall palm trees.

An SUV and various sports cars complete the impression of serious wealth.

Our knock on the heavy wooden front door is answered by a loud welcoming voice from inside and a fresh-looking Pushie Watson comes down the spiral staircase in the hallway to greet us.

It’s been a long time since the former 999 stable dancer, Backstage actress and all-round party girl graced the pages of South African magazines.

And she’s undergone a complete transformation. She’s calmer, more mature and has found God – in short, totally different from the Pushie Dunn who co-presented SABC1’s Jam Alley in the late ’90s and worked as a presenter on DSTV’s Channel O.
