Last night was a big night for Lungile Buhale (22) from Dube Village, who was crowned Miss Soweto 2014 at Soweto Theatre . With Kamogelo Kodisang (20) as the 1st Princess and Keamogetswe Malotane (22) as 2nd Princess. We got a chance to chat with her and this is what she had to say.

How are you feeling?

It hasn't sunk in yet that I just got the title but I'm okay, I don't know how I feel to be quiet honest. I'm humbled that I've got such huge title on my shoulder that I know I need to utilize it to my best, in a nutshell I just feel anxious but excited.

What was the hardest part of being in the competition?

Was being surrounded by 16 other beautiful girls who you knew had they had potential to win, it was always about staying humble and always making sure you work harder and harder each time that was my biggest challenge.

Now that you are Miss Soweto, what are your plans?

I've got two major projects that I want to do with this title firstly is creating initiative called the intern help basically scouting& attracting graduates and making them come up with their own business plans in their own initiative. Secondly an organization for boys and girls to inspire them and encourage them to go after their dreams.

Who inspires you?

South Africa's Public Protector, Thuli Madonsela, she's a woman of power, she stands her ground and what she believes in.

What advice would you give someone who wants to enter Miss Soweto 2015?

Firstly believe in yourself, don't be scared you not alone. Give it a try, you never know how far it can take you. Have fun and always smile.
