Crises continue to engulf the SABC. The beleaguered broadcaster has lost its CEO.

Hannes du Buisson, the president of the Broadcasting, Electronic, Media and Allied Workers Union (BEMAWU) has just tweeted; “Lulama Mokhobo, SABC CEO has resigned!”

It not clear why Mokhobo, who was previously SABC group executive for public broadcasting services decided to resign nearly 14 months into her position.

The SABC could not be reached for comment.

Mokhobo obtaining her BA degree from the University of Botswana and Swaziland, she completed a master’s degree in science at Utah State University in the United States.
