If you are waiting to see fitness guru Sbahle Mpisane on Soccerzone in the near future, you may have to wait a little bit longer for official confirmation.

While many believe the rumour of Kaizer Chiefs and Bafana Bafana goalie Itumeleng Khune’s ex girl to be true, South African Broadcasting Corporation spokesperson Kaizer Kganyago is clueless on whether Mpisane is currently being groomed to be Minnie’s successor.

Minnie Dlamini recently resigned from SABC 1’s popular soccer show and hasn’t been replaced as yet. However, Sunday World reported that Mpisane will be taking over from her. Kganyago refused to either confirm or deny the report. “I don’t know anything about Sbahle joining Soccerzone. As soon as I know the new appointee, that’s when I can be able to say. But for now... all I see is the media reporting that Minnie was fired and Minnie only resigned”, Kganyago said. On the other hand, Mpisane didn’t take the reports lying down and took to Twitter to rubbish the claims:

Khanyago confirmed that he only knows about facts and doesn’t usually follow who is being groomed or what the media says.

“As soon as they find Minnie’s replacement, that is when I’ll care. In such cases, we make statements and issue them to the media”, Kganyago concluded.
