"I know you didn't mean to leave us."

The death of Gospel star Sfiso Ncwane has left South Africa in deep mourning.

On Sunday night Sfiso was rushed to hospital at 7:30 PM and was treated for kidney related issues.

After a short fight, the doctors declared the Kulungile singer dead on Monday morning at 09:30.

Sfiso’s wife Ayanda broke the news to their children Ngcweti and Mawenza Monday afternoon. Traumatized and saddened by their father’s passing, the 2 boys shared heartfelt messages on their social media.

The eldest son Ngcweti wrote,

“To my father thank you for everything you have done for the whole family I know you didn't mean to leave us. I hope that you (rest in peace) and I promise I will follow in your footsteps There will never be another loving father like you.”

Sfiso’s youngest son Mawenza wrote,

“My hero daddy. We will always protekt mommy for you.”
