Solomons looking forward to working with Polokwane City

Boebbie Solomons says he’s looking forward to helping the team move away from their current position and start challenging for a top eight position.

Newly appointed Premier Soccer League's (PSL) stragglers, Polokwane City Football Club head coach Boebbie Solomons says he’s looking forward to helping the team move away from their current position and start challenging for a top eight position.

Solomons the former Bloemfontein Celtic FC technical director, is replacing Duncan Lechesa, who resigned last month.

Solomons was introduced to players at the club's village outside Polokwane on Sunday.

Chairman Johnny Mogaladi says Solomons will be with the club for five years.

Solomons says his mandate is to ensure that the club stays in the PSL. “I think there is a lot of potential here. The vision of the club is to build the team for the next five years and to have the team in the community here in the PSL. That is very importantand the foundation has already been laid.

The objective of the club is to stay in the PSL,” he says.
