The tragic loss of his son in a fire has left DJ C-live traumatised beyond bearing.

Tragic news of DJ and producer C-Live's loss of his son via a horrific fire at his house, has created sadness for those who know him personally and for those who don't alike.

And now it seems that the tragedy has left the father traumatised beyond bearing.

Speaking to Daily Sun, C-Live - real name Clive Shabalala's mother revealed that her grandson's cries for help are the last words her son heard before his tragic death.

"Dad! Help me! Aunty Portia, help me!" were reportedly the 11-year-old boy's last cries.

"It broke my heart when I was sitting with Clive in hospital and he told me how the words wouldn't leave his mind," Virginia Shabalala told the publication when they called her.

"He went for trauma counselling but it will take time." she allegedly revealed to the paper.

The emotional mother broke down when she mentioned her grandson.

"I wish God could have sent angels to save him. We don't care about the house, it's my little boy," she told reporters in between tears.

"I would leave KZN and see him and we would have so much fun together. He was my handsome grandson. He was the first child to ever call me gogo!"

The fire reportedly started in the boy's room at his father's house in Bez Valley, Johannesburg and C-Live sustained serious burn injuries while trying to save his son.

Funeral arrangements are yet to be finalised while a case of arson has been opened with the police by the family.
