Actress and producer, Terry Pheto’s movie Ayanda will open up the second edition of the RomAfrica Film Festival (RAFF) in Italy.

The festival will be at the ‘Casa Del Cinema’ in Rome’s Villa Borghese park tonight (13 July 2016). The actress has arrived in Rome this morning. She will be attending the opening ceremony.

“It’s always such an privilege to have Ayanda screened at film festivals across the globe and to still have it feature at film festivals almost 2 years on speaks volumes to the relevance of content coming out of Africa and for that I’m extremely proud.”

She said having Ayanda open up the RomAfrica Film Festival is such an honour. “I’m looking forward to attending the opening screening tonight.”

The movie also opened the Durban International Film Festival 2015 (DIFF), and won the Jury Prize at the Los Angeles Film Festival 2015.
