Thabiso Sikwane's tips for expectant mommies

Thabiso Sikwane gives us tips on how expectant mommies should take themselves during their pregnancy.

Power FM DJ, Thabiso Sikwane is expecting baby number four with her husband Thato "DJ Fresh" Sikwane and she gave us tips on taking care of yourself when there's a baby on board.

Exercise

"Keep fit, it makes you feel better. Even though I can't train right now, I walk up the stairs more often, I use them more than the lift. I take walks before work. For me exercise is the best thing."

Rest

"Your body needs to rest so listen to your body, especially the older you get because with this pregnancy I've noticed that I get tired more easily than I did with the others."

Eat well

"I drink a pregnancy shake with my breakfast and I make sure I eat every two hours.  I make sure that I also eat a lot of proteins and drink lots of liquids"

Satisfy those cravings

"I haven't craved anything with this pregnancy but I eat everything so there isn't anything I stay away from."

Enjoy it!

"I love children. If I could, I would have ten. I just love being pregnant! I'm just in awe of the whole miracle of life".
