People stop and stare as we stroll through the plush Hilton Sandton Hotel and for a moment we wonder what all the fuss is about.

Then we realise that this spiritual actress turns heads wherever she goes. Her beauty and graceful figure make her hard to miss. But this celeb is much more than just a pretty face.

Actress, TV host, radio personality and author, Thami Ngubeni radiates confidence.

A deeply spiritual person, she’s perceived by many to be quiet and perhaps a little too serious but these preconceptions fly out of the window as it quickly becomes clear she has a warm, vibrant personality that fills any room she’s in.

Now in her thirties, Thami’s easy confidence comes from years of experience in the entertainment industry. A short stint as a model in her teens makes our photo shoot a breeze as Thami poses like a pro.

In 1998 she was first princess in the Miss Gauteng regionals of the 1998 Miss South Africa pageant and it’s easy to see why.
