It's all systems go for this year’s 7th annual Buyelekhaya Pan African Music Festival which takes place this Sunday, December 20, at the Buffalo Park Cricket Stadium in East London.

Featuring some of Mzansi’s top artists such as Caiphus Semenya, Thandiswa Mazwai, Zahara, Cassper Nyovest, Nathi, Ricky Rick and Mi Casa among others, the festival looks set to keep partygoers entertained once again.

Organisers have promised to beef up security this year, with 500 security personnel deployed to ensure safety during the festival.

Last year there was almost a stampede after some unscrupulous individuals sold fake tickets, resulting to the overcrowding of the 25 000 capacity stadium.

”We have put together a team of the best production, security and communications agencies from across the country to meticulously plan and execute a world-class festival this year. From security services and transport to entry and crowd management and stage and sound production, Sunday’s event programme will guarantee a magical experience for all fans,” says founder and director of the festival Nomahlubi Mazwai.
