Rapper The Game is reportedly in talks to join the cast of a Los Angeles spin-off of hit U.S. reality show Love & Hip Hop.

The Dreams hitmaker broke the news to fans on his Instagram.com page after sharing a photo of himself at a "business meeting" with the show's executive producer MonaScott-Young and her team.

In his caption, he included a hashtag for Lhhla, suggesting the get-together had to do with a new Love & Hip Hop spin-off.

The franchise chronicles the lives of several women who are romantically involved with hip-hop stars like Joe Budden, Jim Jones, Cam'ron and Fabolous.

The Game previously appeared in his own fly-on-the-wall programme, Marrying The Game, with his former fiancee Tiffney Cambridge, but the on/off couple split after the second series of the show aired in the U.S.

It is not yet known if Cambridge will be part of the new series of Love & Hip Hop as she and The Game attempt to repair their relationship.
