It was an upsetting night for Vintage Dance crew fans when Thembisa Revolution became the second winners of Step Up or Step Out.

The Thembisa Revolution won the hearts of the viewers and judges Arthur Mafokate, Khabonina and Emile with their pantsula combined with tap dance.

The crew also walked away with a R70 000 cash prize, a Big Boy Scooter each with accessories and an additional bonus prize of R10 000 courtesy of KFC, sponsors of Step Up Or Step Out 2.

“ When we were making the second season we were worried we could never match up to the first season of Step Up or Step out,” said presenter Dalen Lance.

But the dance crews truly stepped up their game to create a great season of  Step Up or Step out.

The Soweto Revolution received a standing ovation with their second dance of the night, winning, quite instantly, the hearts of the viewers.

Their first dance also as impressive, was a ‘mzansified’ shuffling, a dance made popular by America group LMFAO and their song ‘Everyday I am Shuffling’.
