Those #MAMA2015 moments

Nothing could have ever prepared us for the moments that had the #MAMA2015 trending on Twitter.

It was an eventful and even more entertaining night in eThekwini on Saturday, 18 July when the MTV Africa Music Awards rolled around for yet another year.

Nothing could have ever prepared us for the moments that had the #MAMA2015 trending on Twitter.

We've rounded up some of our favourites moments, did we miss anything? Do let us know.

Couple moments

We expected Boity and Cassper Nyovest to rock up together but nothing could have prepared us for Bonang and D'Banj finally going public on their love - naturally, with a kiss.

Check out snaps of two loved-up couples: boivest

Fashion moments

There were hits and there were misses but two moments stood out for us the most - Jessica Nkosi and TBo Touch.

Jessica looked gorgeous in her mint green ensemble and fringed bob while TBo Touch created a frenzy with his coned durag and close to everything he owned from his closet.

Shady moments

The sound was a bummer for most viewers who could not hear some of the artists belt out their hits which rubbed some people up the wrong way but the bug was subsequently fixed.

Boity Thulo should be crowned with Most Shadiest though, it seems that the Cassper/AKA  beef has spilled onto lovers now - the new face of Legit stepped out of line when she presented AKA  with the best collaboration award.

Boity announced AKA, JR, Da Les and Burna Boy as winners for their "All Eyes On Me" collaboration but she created an awkward moment by announcing to the whole of Africa how her boyfriend Cassper always wins everything.

But in a mature move, AKA let it slide.
