From babies to teens – most kids love deliciously creamy yoghurt. Greek yoghurt differs from other yoghurts because it is even thicker and works well in sweet, savoury, hot or cold dishes and some people even use it as a beauty product.

From babies to teens – most kids love deliciously creamy yoghurt. Greek yoghurt differs from other yoghurts because it is even thicker and works well in sweet, savoury, hot or cold dishes and some people even use it as a beauty product.

Here are three clever plans with Greek yoghurt that your whole family will enjoy.

Make yoghurt ice lollies

Mix 2 cups Greek yoghurt with a ? cup honey, 1 teaspoon rose-water and ? cup of your choice of berries. Divide between eight ? cup-capacity (80 ml) lolly moulds. Cover with aluminium foil and insert a wooden stick into each lolly.  Freeze for 4-6 hours or overnight.

Use it in marinade

Marinate chicken thigh fillets in 2 cups Greek yoghurt, 1 tablespoon tomato paste, 4 cloves crushed garlic, 1 tablespoon finely grated ginger, lemon zest, 2 tablespoons olive oil, 1 tablespoon finely grated ginger, 2 chopped red chillies, salt and pepper for 2 hours or overnight before cooking.

Try a delicious salad dressing

Combine ½ cup Greek yoghurt, 1 clove crushed garlic, lemon juice, 4 tablespoons olive oil, ¼ cup mint, ¼ cup basil, 2 tablespoons white vinegar, 2 tablespoons water, salt and pepper for taste.
