Top Billing presenter Simba Mhere dies

Winner of Top Billing's presenter Simba Mhere has died.

The Zimbabwean native reportedly died in a car accident on Saturday. According to  reports Mhere was travelling on William Nicol Road near the N1 when he collided with a VW Polo and a Mazda. According to an ANN7 report eight people died in the crash and some victims were airlifted from the scene. New reports say that the driver who collided with Mhere's car is facing charges of reckless and negligent driving and culpable homicide. Mhere was on his way to the airport to board a flight to Cape Town, where he was due to attend the J&B Met horse race. Tributes poured in on Twitter and people expressed their shock st the presenter's death.
