Two more protesters have been shot dead, allegedly by police, at Rhelela village outside Tzaneen in Limpopo, SABC reports.

Two more protesters have been shot dead, allegedly by police, at Rhelela village outside Tzaneen in Limpopo,  SABC reports.

Residents were angry at the fatal shooting of a 15-year-old boy and the murder of a 20-year-old woman attacked a satellite police station. They marched to the police station and threw stones at the offices.

Shots were fired, resulting in two deaths.

The crowd was dispersed after police-reinforcements were called in.

The number of people killed since Friday in Rhelela now stands at four.

At least eight people have been shot dead in violent protests in Gauteng, North West and Limpopo in the last two weeks.
