Following the release and massive success of his hit song Van Damme, KZN-based maskandi artist Sthembiso Fakude, better known as Mroza, will host a free concert to thank the public for their enormous support and the success of his track.

The event will take place in Hlabisa, KZN tomorrow. Speaking to us, Mabala Noise spokesperson Tumi Moatshe says the event will feature other maskandi artists from the province and entrance will be absolutely free.

“He [Mroza] comes from KZN, so it’s fitting that he celebrates at home with fellow maskandi musicians, as he’s one of the country’s best-selling maskandi artists. The song is still doing very well in all provinces,” Tumi says, adding that the musician will release his next album under the Mabala stable.

Mroza edged out tight competition earlier this month when he received the most public votes in the SABC 2016 Summer Song of the Year competition. He also won the UKhozi Song of the Year competition.
