Washing your hands can save your life

Did you know that 10 major sicknesses can be prevented and/or lessened by the simple act of washing hands?

Four out of five people across the world don't wash their hands correctly across the world. This is according to research done by Unilever's Myriam Sidibe, who is part of a campaign to help children reach the age of five through a practice as simple as washing their hands.

These diseases include dysentery, pneumonia, diarrhea, flu and heat rash.

There is a method to washing one's hands and, if you don't do it right, you could be at risk of these major illnesses.

Here are the 5 steps to proper hand washing:
