The Fifty Shades of Grey trailer, has received more than 36 million views in less than a week.

The Fifty Shades of Grey trailer, for the upcoming film adaption of the erotic series has received more than 36 million views in less than a week, according to reports. Set to a new version of Beyonce's hit "Crazy in Love", the trailer has notched up more than 36.4 million views, according to the Hollywood Reporter, citing figures compiled by tech firm Zefr, since it was released with much fanfare on 24 July.

The independent.co.uk, reports that in its first week, "Fifty Shades" easily beat the trailer for the upcoming "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles", which racked up 31 million views at the end of March, and surpassed both Godzilla and Michael Bay'sTransformers: Age of Extinction, with more than 26 million views.

The two minute clip sees Dakota's character, Anastasia Steele, meeting billionaire, bondage-loving businessman Christian Grey (Dornan) for the first time before embarking on a journey of sexual discovery in the big screen adaption of the mega-selling book by EL James.
