Zanele Mbokazi Nkambule and hubby Bishop Mpendulo opened the doors to their own church this past weekend. Word Of Hope Ministries will be the new spiritual ‘home’ for them and many others.

With barely six months into their marriage, the love birds show a strong commitment of “moulding unashamed soldiers who will be true ambassadors, representing the Kingdom of God”.

The newlyweds had their first service this past Sunday in Morningside Durban and they call upon “Unashamed soldiers of the cross who want a Word based church to join us”  at the Word Of Hope Ministries.

They described the church as a place “for people who want to grow in knowing God” as it “is based on The Word of God”.

The couple said it is willing to work with other churches and organisations with the same purpose of spreading the Word.

“We strive under the Vision: Impacting the world with the message of hope, healing and deliverance, and we believe God sent us to this part of the land – Durban, to realise this vision,” said Bishop Nkambule who shared the church’s vision.

The church officially launches in March and the service starts at 10am and everyone is welcome.

The Head office of the church is in Swaziland, Mbabane and other branches are in Northern Cape and Soshanguve, Pretoria. Soon it will spread to other parts of the country and beyond.
