They may not have won this season's hotly-contested Idols competition, but when we bump into some of the top eight contestants at the annual DSTV iRock in Rustenburg, they shared their  future plans with us.

Valentine tells that she had a great experience on Idols. “My experience on Idols was amazing. I learned a lot. I’m going back to school next year to study PR,” she told us.

Terra says he plans on doing some gigs over the festive season. “I’ve been doing a lot  since Idols and I plan on  releasing an album soon,” he shared.

Lucia told us that she was sad that she never got an opportunity to go to New York (as the top four did). But, she says, Idols taught her to fight for what she wants and work hard for it. “I also plan on releasing an album soon,” she said.

Idols runner-up, Thami says he was humbled by the experience of being on Idols. “I thank people for believing in me and voting for me. I did not think I would make it that far, it really meant a lot to me. I'm releasing my album very soon and people should look out for that," he told us.
