“Mom, I’m bored.” “Dad, we don’t have anything to do.” Do you often hear this from your kids? You’re not alone! A British study found kids complain about boredom to their parents more than 200 times during an average summer holiday.

The study, conducted by CBeebies Land at Alton Towers in Staffordshire, England, found children often complained they don’t have anything to keep busy with. Ten percent of the 2 000 polled said they heard this complaint at least five times a day.

Two-thirds of parents said they struggle trying to think of new activities for their kids to do during school holidays and almost half of parents admitted school holidays are just as stressful as planning a wedding or moving.
