Every weekday at 8pm millions of viewers tune into Generations the legacy for their daily dose of drama, romance, intrigue and some comedy.  One of the reasons we at DRUM tune in is because of Lucy played by Manaka Ranaka. Here's why we thing Lucy is one of the show's loved characters;

Lucy

She is fun- Even though she is usually hard on her niece, daughter, sister and brother Cosmo, Lucy let's her hair down once in a while. And when she does, we love her panstula dance moves.

She is realistic - While Cosmo sometimes gets the most of this reality check, her being realistic helps her family to not get away by anything that may seem great without looking at it closely.

She admits when she is wrong - Remember when she was giving Namhla a hard time about Adze? When she realized where she had been wrong she mended things with her daughter.

She understands education is important- She may run a she-been, has done illegal things but the fact that she keeps pushing her niece and daughter to do well at school is something we like about Lucy.

She is stylish- From those fashionable earrings, jeans and making natural hair look so appealing. We love!

She is ready to do what it takes to protect those she loves- When the community came to fight Cosmo, Namhla and Adze she was there protecting them and ready to fight for them.

Generations the legacy is on Monday to Friday on SABC1 at 8pm
