It's 2014! The time is now!
So two years has passed since I wrote my previous articles.
With just a few weeks left it's almost time to head to the polls and I can't help but ask how far have we come as a nation. And the sad reality is we've taken more steps backward then forward. The number of jobs have declined, service delivery protests are at an all time high, we're seeing some of the longest running strikes in our history, corruption is now at the core of the ruling party with all our heroes past or banished from the inner circles.
Once again we're at an important milestone which like 1994 could easily become a great moment in our country’s history. Soon You, the man on the street will have a voice, it may be a small but just like one bee in a swarm of bees your voice along with your neighbours, your friends and everyone in this country has the opportunity to echo throughout history.
In 2009 together by just a few percent the people took the right of the ruling party from being able to change the constitution, a power no single party should ever be able to do. And today looking back we now know how important that few percent was. And that victory was done with just a few votes, it was Your single vote that saved this nation.
And now once again you will be given the opportunity to show the people that run this 'machine' that you will not stand by and watch your friends and families fall victim to this corrupt system. A system that is breeding murder, theft and rape. A system that bleeds you dry with taxes upon taxes so it can take care of a select elite few while so many wonder how to get to work or put food on the table.
Soon you will be given the rare chance to show government who they work for! The question is if you're going to stand back and let them tell you that you who your master is...
