21:00 deadline for international votes

Cape Town - International ballot papers not in South Africa before 21:00 on Friday will not be counted, the IEC said.

"The commission made a decision to allow the counting of ballots received by 9pm tomorrow from international voting stations," chief electoral officer Mosotho Moepya told reporters at the IEC's results centre in Pretoria on Thursday.

Counting of international votes are set to take place on Friday.
