After meeting with EFF, Mbeki to sit down with ANC Gauteng candidates

Johannesburg – A day after meeting with Economic Freedom Fighters leaders, Thabo Mbeki is due to meet with the ANC’s Gauteng mayoral candidates on Tuesday.
 
The ANC in the province confirmed that the party’s former president and well as the country’s former leader will meet with the candidates at his home at 09:00.

Johannesburg Mayor Parks Tau, Tshwane mayoral candidate Thoko Didiza and Mzwandile Masina, the Ekurhuleni mayoral candidate, will be heading to Mbeki’s home.

Mbeki grabbed headlines on Monday when EFF leader Julius Malema revealed details of a meeting him and other members of the red party had with the former president.
