Garden City - Officials say six people are hospitalised after a "suspicious" fire burned down a multimillion-dollar home owned by rapper 50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis Jackson.
Arson squad investigators were on the scene on Friday.
The names of those injured have not been released, but a lawyer for the Grammy-nominated rapper's former girlfriend, Shaniqua Tompkins, says the woman lived in the Long Island house with two of her children.
Dix Hills Fire Chief Larry Feld says all six people are in a stable condition after suffering smoke inhalation.
Earlier this year, Tompkins filed a lawsuit against 50 Cent, claiming he had promised her the $2.4m house more than a decade ago.
