Los Angeles - Hollywood star Nicole Kidman says she hopes Tom Cruise is happy with Katie Holmes for the sake of their children.
Kidman and Cruise have two adopted children together, Isabella, 12, and Connor, 10.
Since their split in 2001 Cruise has had various girlfriends. He dated Penelope Cruz for three years and was also linked to model Sofia Vergara.
Cruise started dating Dawson's Creek star Katie Holmes in April and they became engaged in June.
Kidman reportedly said: "I hope he's happy, it's that simple. If he's happy our kids are happy.
