Johannesburg - There will soon be books on sale by two women who shared the love of popular singer, Steve Hofmeyr.
Janine van der Vyver, who last year admitted that she had had an extra-marital affair with Hofmeyr spanning nearly 10 years, is now planning a book about the affair.
"I didn't want to talk about it all straight away, but I think the time has come. I want to give my side of the story - and it is about much more than merely Steve," Van der Vyver told Sondag.
Carel F Cronjé, who wrote the life stories of Louis van Wyk and Sonja Herholdt, will write the book.
Meanwhile, Natasha Sutherland, Steve's estranged wife, will also write a book entitled Bittersoet (Bittersweet), which should be on sale by the end of June.
The book is said to be an inspirational account, in which she shares her secret thoughts on love, marriage, children, pain, the media and her own healing.
Amanda Singleton, Steve's spokesperson and a close friend, said they were aware of the books and would decide later whether to buy them and how they should react.
