London - Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles will be married in a civil ceremony at 12:30 (11:30 GMT) on Saturday, his office announced on Tuesday.

The wedding was postponed one day to allow Charles to attend the funeral of Pope John Paul II.

The half-hour civil ceremony, to be attended by 30 guests, originally had been scheduled for 13:30 on Friday.

Otherwise, Charles office said that key events would be exactly as planned, a day later - with the service of prayer and dedication in St George's Chapel to begin at 14:30 (13:30 GMT) and the couple to depart for their honeymoon in Scotland at 18:00 (17:00 GMT).
