Cruise hits back at cynics

Los Angeles - Hollywood star Tom Cruise says he doesn't care what people think of his romance with Katie Holmes.
Cruise confirmed earlier this month that he is dating the Dawson's Creek actress who is 16 years his junior.
He said: "When I make a move like that, I'm saying, 'This is my woman.' People are gonna do what they're gonna do. You can't think in terms of what people are gonna do or gonna say...
"I want to share my life with this woman, she's exceptional, she's special, she's extraordinary and I have great respect for her. I've got nothing to hide, I'm happy... She is something else."
He said he was not worried about the age gap and joked: "I'm concerned whether someone can keep up with me. I've got a fast life, I've got a lot going on."
Holmes has also been tipped to play Cruise's love interest in the third instalment of Mission Impossible, according to the New York Post.
Scarlett Johansson has already turned down the role and this week pop star/actress Lindsay Lohan told a Los Angeles radio station she has read for the part. - Ananova.com
