Depp wants to eat co-star

Tokyo - So what would Johnny Depp do if he faced his squid-like arch-foe from Pirates of the Caribbean in Japanese waters? Eat him as sushi, of course.
Depp stars again as bad-boy Captain Jack Sparrow duelling Davey Jones, a pirate with a squid's beard, in the finale of the trilogy, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End.
Visiting Tokyo ahead of the film's worldwide premiere this week, Depp was asked if he could imagine tasting Davey Jones, played by Bill Nighy, in the form of sushi rolls or sashimi slices.
"I tried to. But I got into horrific trouble," Hollywood's sexiest pirate said with a smirk. "I'd rather not talk about it."
"I'm still intrigued by the idea of Bill as sashimi. I certainly have an image of me sailing the sea trying to scoop pieces of Bill into a roll," Depp told a news conference.
While Nighy stayed silent, fellow co-star Orlando Bloom seconded the motion.
'Very tasty'
"There's nothing like a big calamari at the table. He's very tasty, I believe," Bloom said.
Depp, 43, also said he felt a certain kinship with the free-wheeling Jack Sparrow.
"I want freedom about every seven or eight minutes," Depp said.
"The most relaxed, the most freedom I've ever felt in my life has been out at sea?with my kiddies and my girl, the sun, the waves and all that," he said. "Oh, I don't get seasick. I get landsick."
