Dr Piet sinks Marcelle's plans

Cape Town - Marcelle Adams, 34, who has been former sport minister Dr Piet Koornhof's partner for many years, is seeking legal advice as he refuses to let his children leave the country.
Koornhof, 78, scuppered Adams' plans to join Fritz Cherdron, 55, businessman, well-known acrobatic pilot and the father of her youngest child in Germany with her children earlier this year.
She is five months pregnant with Cherdron's second child.
Adams reportedly started seeking legal advice when Koornhof - whom she claims is the father of her six-year-old twin sons, Daniel and Samuel - refused to grant his permission for them to leave the country.
Adams also has two daughters: 11-year-old Maria, born from an earlier relationship and two-year-old Anna.
She has been living with Koornhof, who was a minister in the National Party government and a former ambassador in Washington, for more than a decade.
Koornhof tells of his oath
Adams did not want to comment on Wednesday as she was still under contract to a magazine.
When asked, Koornhof said he wouldn't give permission for his children to go to Germany. "I also doubt whether she is going to Germany. I don't think she'll go and leave the children here."
