Nicosia - Britain's Prince Harry and a group of friends have flown into Cyprus for a pre-Christmas break, according to a newspaper report on Sunday.
The son of Prince Charles and the late Princess Diana flew in from Heathrow, under an assumed name, on budget Cypriot airliner Helios.
The flight arrived at Larnaca airport early Saturday morning and the group were ushered through the VIP lounge and whisked away to their secret destination.
"He slept most of the way," an unnamed passenger told the local Sunday Mail newspaper.
Airport sources confirmed to the paper that Harry, third in line to the throne, arrived with friends on the island. He was in full view of most people on board as there were no first class seats on the airliner.
The British High Commission could neither confirm or deny whether the 21-year-old prince was on the holiday island.
The British military bases in Cyprus could also neither confirm or deny to AFP speculation that Prince Harry could be spending time there due to his Sandhurst military academy connections.
