London - Hollywood wild boy Colin Farrell sets the record straight on those Angelina Jolie rumours.
He swears they have never been more than just good friends. Both stars are known to be a little partial to dating their co-stars so, when the pair starred together in blockbuster Alexander, the rumours flew.
Now the pregnant beauty has settled down with Brad Pitt, it seems hunky Colin might regret missing his chance with his on-screen mum.
The hard-drinking Irishman told OK! magazine: "Nothing happened between me and Angelina - unfortunately."
Then, really getting into his stride, he said: "Oh God, she's just dreamy! She's such a professional, and we really hit it off. She has this crazy side, which I love. "I just feel lucky to have worked with her - I'm sure many men would have wanted to be in my shoes."
Even if nothing happened, the cheeky chap definitely has a rather large soft spot for Angelina. He said: "She's amazing and I love her dearly.
"We became close friends and, I know it sounds cheesy but when I met her, she seemed very familiar. "It felt like I had met her already. There just seemed to be a connection there."
