Los Angeles - Paris Hilton says her debut single titled Screwed is about a relationship gone bad and is not about sex.
She told MTV, "When I heard it, before I recorded it, I didn't even think about the double meaning."
The 23-year-old added: "It's not what you think. It's about a girl who really falls for a guy and knows she's emotionally in too deep and in trouble, so she's screwed.
"When my parents heard the title they weren't too happy, but my mother listened to it and she loves it."
The song is due out early next year together with Hilton's debut album.
She also hopes to work with the Black Eyed Peas to write a song for the CD.
Hilton and her friend Nicole Richie have just finished filming Fox's reality show The Simple Life 3 featuring the pair travelling on a Greyhound bus across America's north-eastern states. - Ananova.com
