Jolie ended up in 'loony bin'

London - Angelina Jolie says she ended up in a psychiatric unit in Los Angeles after convincing herself that she had killed someone, The Sun reports.
Jolie, who attended the UK premiere of Tomb Raider: The Cradle Of Life, also confessed that the incident was so disturbing she was unable to speak for several days afterwards.
She had just won an Oscar for playing a mentally ill patient in the film Girl Interrupted and was admitted to LA's UCLA hospital.
She spent three days in the Neuropsychiactric Institute.
Angelina told The Sun: "I was in for grief counselling. I lost my voice and then I was held in for a 72-hour watch period so I wouldn't hurt myself or anybody else."
She said it had a traumatic effect but denies she was mentally disturbed.
"The big concern was just the grief - and I think that it would happen to me again tomorrow if I thought I had killed somebody. I didn't and it turned out fine, so it shocked me into something."
